It’s been a rough few weeks trying to get everything ready for our trip and making sure we aren’t forgetting anything and just the other day i got a text from our teammate Cindy Camacho who will be driving the team car and it said that her father might be passing away very soon and she didn’t know if she’ll be able to help us out. It’s tough enough for someone to lose someone especially their father, and even after this she said if she can, she will still help us out if she can. So this ride that was meant to be just to go and push ourselves is now gonna be dedicated to her father Peter Camacho. If you’re the praying type please send your prayers to her family and we hope she stays strong. In the mean time we are looking for a back up person who can help us out as a team car driver.
Early morning ride before my teammate/cousin goes back up north before our trip. Hopefully every thing goes good on the ride.
We found a place to stay in SF once we get there, glad we could find a decent place for a good price. Free continental breakfast? count us in! haha.
Sweet one more follower and we hit 200 :) now help us get 200 “likes” on our facebook! We’ll be posting updates of our trip to San Francisco and we’ll have some great videos for you guys too.
So one of our teammates Manny is visiting from up north this week and I(Pink) decided to go on a training ride with him this morning. We started at around 9:23a.m., started off with a bit of off road riding on the track bikes then hit the streets towards Riverside then onto Moreno Valley, through Perris and onto Lake Elsinore and made our way to Corona and back to Riverside and Perris and finally back to Mead Valley. We did a total of 83 miles and about 2 miles before we were done i ended up getting hit by a truck. I managed to skid right before he hit me and the dirt on the road made my back tire slide so i hit the front bumper and went under the truck, luckily the driver pressed his brakes right on time and i had my shoulder right next to the tire. Glad i didn’t get seriously injured just road rash and bruises. Overall great day riding with my teammate/cousin can’t wait for our trip this summer to SF.
